It’s not morbid, it’s mortality.
While it can be uncomfortable, heartbreaking, or unpredictable none of us escape death.
If you are death-curious, currently facing your own mortality, or dealing with the death of a loved one, I want to support you.
My name is Audrey Murray and I am an end of life guide based in Denver, Colorado.
What is an end of life guide?
An end-of-life guide (or death doula) is a non-medical professional who provides emotional, spiritual, and practical support to individuals and their loved ones as they navigate the final stages of life.
I can help bring presence, clarity, and compassion to the dying process. My role is not to fix, but to walk alongside and actively listen.
Why is an end of life guide helpful?
Death can be incredibly overwhelming and it is easy to feel disconnected from the process. Having an end of life guide can help with:
Emotional support when fear or uncertainty arises
Practical guidance when families feel overwhelmed
Continuity of care when systems feel fragmented
By creating space for conversation, questions, personalization, and peaceful presence I can help bring intention to the dying process.
What does an end of life plan look like?
Pre Death
Explore the purpose of life through reflection (one on one)
Discuss and create the desired living space or atmosphere
Explore personal history and contributions through legacy projects
Companionship, conversation, and reading
Discuss end-of-life plans and provide additional resources as needed
Added support at appointments (no medical advice will ever be given)
Aid in respite care to support caregivers and home health team
Active Death
Create the desired atmosphere for the dying process, including sights, smells, and sounds
Support of family members
Normalize the signs and symptoms of the dying process
Vigil sitting
The above is a representation of what we can do together but every death is unique and requires a unique plan. Contact me below for a free discovery chat.
